Welcome to the Western Campus-Kisumu Library.Our library is an ultra-modern library that facilitates research, teaching, and learning activities of faculty and students of the Western campus. The library is fully automated to ensure the efficiency, efficacy, and effectiveness of library service delivery. The library is Wi-Fi equipped and has modern computers which offer the latest state-of-the-art technological application.
Western campus Kisumu library is managed by knowledgeable librarians who endeavor to provide the right and current information all the time to all library users. Some of the library services supported by staff include: user services, information literacy training, periodicals, reprographic, reference and ICT. The Library provides a comfortable and welcoming place for your quiet study and leisure reading. We also have a separate room for group discussions.
In tune with our vision, we have a sizable collection of print books for all the programs offered in the Campus and over 50 electronic scholarly databases from premier publishers such as Taylor & Francis, emerald, SpringerLink, Proquest, etc, through the Kenya Library and Information Services consortium. These e-resources provide access to over ten million quality eBooks and journals and are accessible within the campus and remotely through an off-campus access platform called MyLOFT (app.myloft.xyz).
